You'll see scenes filmed from a plane on approach to Vietnam, landing at DaNang, and a sign, "Welcome to Da Nang ABRVN". There are shots of servicemen arriving or waiting to depart, airbase activity, and a "selfie" of A1C Shelton. Also, views of the living area -- quonset type hootches, and the "USO Liberty Center - Da Nang" building. You'll go on a drive through villages and out to the coast, where there are panoramic views filmed from China Beach. Back on the base, Shelton filmed the flightline, fuel trucks, aircraft overhead and taking off / landing. There are shots of signs for "Spooky -- Ghost Riders", and a good look at the 366 FMS shop, with guys working on an F-100 Super Sabre inside. Shelton films himself looking over an F-4 Phantom with "Gunfighters" markings, and climbs into the cockpit. There are shots of a black plume of smoke rising from the flight line in the distance, then shots of a destroyed jet flipped upside down and burned, rocket holes in the pavement and shrapnel holes in the buildings. Also included is lots of flightline activity, with all sorts of aircraft -- Phantoms, Skyraiders, Caribou, helicopters and more.

~Shelton and his buddies barbecueing and drinking

The original film suffered from moisture damage, causing a smokey appearance on some scenes.
