You'll see panning shots of Can Tho Airfield, the control tower and flightline. You'll see some O-1 Bird Dogs painted grey -- our pilot's plane has the tail number 62516. You'll take a drive into Can Tho, walk around at the marketplace along the river and check out the flower-seller's stall. Our pilot and his buddies pose for photos with a pair of Vietnamese Police (White Mice). Later you'll see our pilot with his Bird Dog again, but this time it has been repainted in camouflage. He does a walk-around inspection, then you're up in the air flying over Binh Thuy Airbase, Can Tho and the surrounding area. There's more footage of Can Tho, shots filmed from the balcony of his living quarters in town, boats and river activity. You'll see some great footage of a sidewalk dentist pulling a stoic Vietnamese man's tooth -- the dentist smokes a cigarette the whole time, and a crowd gathers to watch. Back at Binh Thuy you'll see bombs being loaded onto Vietnamese Air Force A-1 Skyraiders of the 520th Squadron, VNAF men watching as a truck and gear are unloaded from a cargo plane, our pilot loading rockets into pods on his Bird Dog, a HH-43 Huskie "Pedro" helicopter picking up a fire suppresion kit (FSK), and more.
