You'll see footage filmed from an aircraft taking off, flying over land and ocean,stopping briefly at Anderson AFB in Guam where you'll see B-52s on the flightline -- then taking off and eventually landing in Vietnam.
In Vietnam you'll see panoramic footage of Cam Ranh Bay Airbase, runway activity -- C-7 Caribou, Jolly Green Giant take-off, and F-101 Voodoos in revetments -- Officer's Open Mess sign, base buildings, trailers, etc. You'll drive through Saigon where you'll see government buildings, statues, churches, and busy traffic. At Phu Cat you'll see Caribou on the flightline, the "Ellisville" tent camp (living quarters before permanent structures were erected after August '67), and shots filmed from inside a Caribou -- watching the wheels retract, and aerial views of the base below. On the beach at Cam Ranh Bay there's footage of men partying, playing drinking games, tug-of-war, gunny-sack & 3-legged races.
There's lengthy footage of an F4 Phantom catching fire and burning on a distant runway, and rare footage of a C-130 using the Fulton Surface-to-Air Recovery (STAR) System to retrieve something from the ground -- it's not apparent whether or not it's a live person, and I've been unable to find information about the system being used at Cam Ranh Bay.
