Color home movies filmed by John R. Cooper (AO1), USN -- Including footage of flight deck activity, UNREPs, Russian bomber over-flights, and more.

You'll see lots of great footage filmed at sea aboard the Kitty Hawk -- flightdeck activity, launch & recovery ops, shots from the fantail, replenishment of supplies and bombs, refueling -- USS Navasota (AO-106) flying a "Put a Tiger in Your Tank" flag -- a missile launch, A1 Skyraiders on the flightdeck, a CH-46 helicopter slinging supplies on a nearby ship, and more. Not to be missed is the footage of surveillance over-flights by Russian (Soviet) bombers -- a TU-95 Bear and an M-4 Bison, each being escorted by an F4 Phantom during their lengthy flights directly over and circling the ship .
You'll also see: footage filmed at a golf course in Japan (Atsugi?), USS Chara (EA-31), USS Wedderburn (DD-684) , E-2A Hawkeye, A-3 Skywarrior, A-4 Skyhawk, A-5 Vigilante, A-6 Intruder, aircraft from VF-114, and more.

The DVD has a soundtrack from a 1967 radio show.
