Home movie footage of deck activity and UNREP filmed by Lt. Shirley Peters, a nurse serving aboard the USN Hospital Ship "Repose" off the coast of Vietnam during the war.

You'll see scenes of deck activity aboard the Repose -- helicopter delivery of supplies and oxygen tanks, men unloading cargo and moving the supplies upstairs into the hold, refueling, and more.
There's footage of replenishment activity with the following ships:
USS Sacramento (AOE-1) refueling and helicopter transfer
USS Vega (AF-59)
USS Manatee (AO-58) refueling
USS Zelima (AF-49)
USS Neches (AO-47) refueling on rough seas -- shots of Neches' prop coming out of water on high swells
USS Regulus (AF-57)

Other footage includes a visit to the Destroyer USS Hull (DD-945) and shots of the Hull's Commanding Officer George Church with Repose's Capt. John Drew / a group of men and women boarding a landing craft, going ashore for a picnic / men rigging cables between the Repose and UNREP ships / helicopter flight from the Repose over Danang /and more.

The DVD has a soundtrack of AFVN radio shows.
