Color home movie footage filmed by a serviceman who worked out of the US Army Headquarters in Long Binh, as he traveled around III Corps during 1969.

You'll see scenes filmed in Saigon and in the surrounding countryside -- footage of city streets, military monuments, the Saigon Zoo, village scenes, driving into Long Binh Post, USARV Headquarters compound -- shots of the HQ courtyard display of Viet Cong weapons and huts, and over-exposed shots of the Medal of Honor memorial wall. You'll take a flight in an OH-6A Cayuse helicopter (LOH), flying low over the countryside, and passing over a landing pad named "Love Field".
Other footage includes:
~The National Military Cemetery and statue of Mourning Soldier
~Phu Cuong Bridge
~faded shots of the exterior of the Loon Foon Restaurant in Long Binh
~Men holding up guidon for A Battery, 1/40th Field Artillery
~villagers working a water wheel with their feet
...and more.
**Please Note: there's a slightly jumpy section of footage, and another part of the film includes a hair that was caught in the guy's camera as he filmed.

The DVD has a soundtrack of AFVN radio shows.
