At FT. RUCKER, you'll drive through the front gates past a "UH-1 Iroquois" helicopter on display and take a close-up look at a number of strange-looking old helicopters parked outdoors. You'll see some shots of the barracks area with soldiers standing at attention, footage of pilots training in H-23 helicopters, a group of guys throwing two others into a pond, and pilots goofing off around the wreckage of a Huey. There are some shots of the "Ross Helicopter Instrument Flying Program" building, and H-13 training helicopters (close-up on the ground and flying).
In VIETNAM you'll see 180th ASHC Chinooks parked on a dirt field and aerial footage while flying over the countryside. There's footage of a Chinook resupplying ROK soldiers, with interior shots of the pilot at the controls, taking off and flying low over roads and a camp. Back on the ground, you'll see men replacing a rotor blade on a CH-47. There's footage of Chinooks lined up at a dirt airfield and lifting off, while Hueys land to pick up long lines of combat troops.
You'll also see footage of:
~pilots visiting a Vietnamese coastal village
~guys relaxing at the beach
